KP Government Introduces E-Transfer Policy 2025 for Transparent Teacher Postings

Nov 11, 2025

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced a new E-Transfer Policy for the Education Department, aimed at ensuring transparent, fair, and merit-based transfers across the province.

Ban on Manual Transfers and New Recruitment Rules

According to an official notification, the government has temporarily banned all manual transfers and postings in the Education Department. The notice also states that new recruitments will only be conducted through the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) to ensure a fair hiring process.

Transfers and postings will now be limited to employees awaiting promotion or adjustment, eliminating political influence and favoritism in the department’s internal movements.

Automatic Transfers During Vacations

Under the new E-Transfer Policy, all teacher transfers and postings will be processed automatically through an online system during summer and winter vacations. This digital approach aims to minimize disruption in the academic calendar and improve efficiency and transparency.

Merit-Based Online System

Education Minister Arshad Ayub Khan emphasized that the E-Transfer Policy will promote a merit-based, transparent, and paperless process for managing transfers. A dedicated online portal will soon be launched, allowing teachers to apply and track their transfer applications digitally.

He added that this digital transformation in the education sector will not only save time and resources but also strengthen accountability within the department.

Key Highlights of the E-Transfer Policy

  • 🔹 No manual transfers or postings allowed.
  • 🔹 All new recruitments to go through KP Public Service Commission.
  • 🔹 Automatic transfer system active during vacations.
  • 🔹 Online portal for transparent and efficient processing.
  • 🔹 Focus on merit, fairness, and accountability.

Conclusion

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department’s E-Transfer Policy represents a major step toward digital governance and merit-based decision-making. By introducing an automated online system, the government aims to bring transparency, fairness, and stability to the education sector in KP.
